Hi I just bought a tsu9800 to join/replace
My 9400. One of the things I d like to do if it's
Possible is to use it to browse my music sever
And play it on pioneer n50.

Can someone point in right direction.

TSU9200 Pronto Config Software

Hi,

Struggling to get this software installed on Windows 7 (tried both 32 & 64 bit) - USB device isn't recognised and Pronto dashboard doesn't start.

I changed the compatibility to Windows XP before installing and also changed the .exe's to XP mode - still no go.

So, i installed Virtual PC and an XP machine but as the USB device is not recognised by Win7, it's not available for passthru.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to what I can try? Running out of ideas apart from buying a cheap laptop to install XP on (purely as a Pronto config machine - seems a bit excessive!)

I normally worked with a Logitech Harmony 1100 as remote. I wanted to get more out of my remote and also trying to integrate it with homeseer (home automation). I could get my hands on a TSU9600 for around $140,00.
I started to look around on how to install the remote.....OMG...it is not installing, it is programming. Options and possibilities are enormous...

So first i have to install the newest firmware on the TSU9600 because the current firmware is 1.xx
Then install a current project and make some changes.....

Firmware Philips TSU9200

Philips Pronto TSU 9200

I did the update posted here at RC version V 2.0.30.

I upgraded using win7 apparently everything went right.

When control rebooted, did not work anymore. Displays on-screen information: Software wrong.

I have not found another firmware update to try.
I want go back to before the update.

Please can someone help me?

Hello all,

I sell my defect Philips Pronto TSU9400, with pen, cradle, power supply. Front in almost new condition. Back: as soon as all rubber coating is removed also like new....
The only thing, which doesn't work is the backlight of LCD.
So if anybody is interested, tell me, what you would pay. Shipping from germany!

I would like to control an RGB led remote-controlled light-bulb with my smartphone, using an app that uses "pronto hex" codes.

The remote for the bulb is the "APA 1616", and I found these codes:

Unable to download configuration to TSU9600

I have recently had this problem when downloading from Pronto PEP V2.4.23.0 to my TSU9600 remote control. I am running Windows 8.1.

I have had the remote control for a few years but only now I am having problems.

This is the error message that appears on the computer :

" unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I understand that Philips no longer makes these remotes.

Layering IR commands?

I've been updating my TSU9600 and would love to resolve an issue.

I use Mediaportal as my HTPC media software. To search for media alphabetically I have to send a Shift/letter command at the same time to perform the search.

I use the MCE remote discrete profile with qwerty commands for my keyboard on the TSU9600, however I can't figure out how to have the Shift command and a letter command be broadcast at the same time. I always have to have a physical keyboard handy to do a search.

Is there any way to layer the commands and have the Shift command stay active while the letter command is... [More Content]

Sony IR Codes won't work through RFX9600 but will from TSU9400

I'm trying to control an older Sony receiver using IR via a RFX9600 base station. The IR emitter blinks, so I know it's sending codes, but the receiver will not respond. If I don't use the base station and send the IR commands directly from the TSU9400, everything works fine.

I've never had this problem. Any idea what the problem is?

Pronto TSU9600 and RF signals

Hello.
I have a Philips Pronto TSU9600 that I had purchased a couple of years ago and now I'd like to replace all my other remotes with it.
But I faced with this problem:
I own a hi-fi and home theater system with projector and motorized drop down screen controlled with his RF remote.
I have no problem with the hi-fi and the projector.
The Philips Pronto can't learn RF motorized screen commands, I know.
So I searched through internet but I didn't find the "definitive" solution.

Only way to communicate with my Pronto is to unplug wireless keyboard

Hello everyone,

Just wondered if any of you clever members out there have found a fix with the irritating issue of having to unplug certain wireless gadgets to allow upload of config files.

Everytime I update my congig file I have to unplug my Logtech diNovo Edge usb sender to stop the error occuring.

Has anyone worked out a workaround for this issue.

I have tried to install the old PEP v2.4.23 on my new computer running Windows8.
This software was previously running on Windows 7 professional.
Installing on Windows 8 stopped when the back-up files are being created.
I even tried by modifying the compatibility mode set to Window7. Same problem.
I also tried the new PEP v3... (beta)==> same problem

Any help out there?

TSU9600 and ASUS router

Hi,
I just bought a new router for my home: an ASUS RT-AC68U
But I cannot manage to have this new router to work with the Pronto TSU9600.
It was working fine with my previous NETGEAR...

I tried every possible combination of parametrs, but it does not work!
I tried 'Open System', WPA, WPA2, DHCP, FixedIP... no joy.
I am using 2.4GHz - b/g only mode.
Other settings: SSID is broadcasted and wifi channel is fixed = 3 (but I tried also with Automatic channel selection)

Any idea what it could be?
How can I see a network connection log in the Pronto?

PEP 3 copying activity

Hi, i am trying to copy an activity between 2 projects, i have managed to copy the actual activity across, from my tsu9400 to my new tsu9300, but now it is saying "there are no components present in your project", but the component that i believe it requires, is in my project, i know i can re-point the function to were i need it, but i have a lot of buttons to redo, if i have to do it that way. I was hoping because i have the same component in the project it would know and re-allocate the functions automatically.

Any thoughts.

Hey there folks, I've had my 9400 for a couple of years now and I would like a simple PS.

Currently I have the Power button set globally to jump to a power page. One of which contains every component's power states. Either an On or Off button or Power Toggle.

The main point of having the power button to go to the Power Page is so that the rest of the family would know what to do. Right now it would just go to the Power Page with out any IR being sent.

My thought is to continue to have that done when just pressed and let go. However, if it's pressed and held for 3 or more seconds. Then I... [More Content]
